Q. Have you had many "natural" psychics learn Technical Remote Viewing? Does
having developed ability help or hinder their training?
A. Over the years that I have been training people at PSI TECH, I have witnessed many different types of
people who already possessed varying degrees of previously developed psi functioning.
Let me give you some examples of what I mean; We had trainees who in the beginning would not only TRV
their blind target but would also include the target data and sketch the next target in the file cabinet. There
were others who were tuned into telepathy and would include the tasker's thoughts and preconceived
notions about the target. In other incidents, if the tasker changed the target at the last moment the viewer
would include the discarded target and would overlay sketches and data with the final chosen target data.
One time a trainee requested a "double blind" target exercise (i.e. the tasker/monitor was also blind to the
target). The monitor decided during the first S3 that he knew "which target was in the envelope." The
viewer sketched the incorrect false target in the taskers' mind along with the actual and correct target in
the envelope. There was another trainee who sketched amazingly accurate geographic locations and
people's faces from the beginning of their training. There was another who frequently (from the beginning)
perceived accurate names of the target - this is rare. There was another, who could perceive numbers
accurately from the beginning which is even more rare. (He now discerns numeric codes and works as a
highly specialized contractor for the FBI.) I could go on with many more stories of these types of incidents.
People with naturally endowed psi functioning tend to take larger data bites but due to the (previous) lack
of a structured system (i.e. TRV) there was no way to regulate the data flow therefore they would be subject
to "data dumps" where most of the data was lost or caught up with imagination. Usually the initial ten
percent would be accurate and the rest skewed.
TRV structure is a natural system which enables the innate human psychic function to control and embrace
the entirety of the perceptual data flow, thus, allowing them to recognize and separate out imagination from
psychically perceived data. This leads to correct discernment of data and eventual precision accuracy in the
final analysis.
The challenge to learn TRV for "naturals" is usually working through the initial lack of the "experiential
impact" during their perception retrieval process. Before TRV training they had come to rely on only one
aspect of their perceptual antennae, usually kinesthetic (physical) or emotional functions. This causes an
overload of data flow and subsequently overwhelming feelings accompanied with an inability to deal with the
data.
Another common obstacle is a tendency to "pigeon hole" data and to impress others with one or two pieces
of flashy (usually novel) data. Natural psychics who have derived their identity, income or fame using their
psychic talents have the most difficulty. This is usually because the change in the data distribution system
challenges an established sense of security and feels more like a threat.
Installing TRV structure allows the perceptual data flow to utilize all of the person's senses (physical,
mental, emotional) in a controlled and precise manner so that we may assimilate the data in manageable
bite size pieces resulting in minimal data loss.
Naturals can be more challenged then others at learning TRV because they need to set aside their
previously acquired methods and impose discipline and a new regiment. They normally have a harder time
staying in structure, slowing down the data flow and discriminating imagination from data.
Those who work hard and stay in structure can become extraordinary "all star" TRVers. However, without
installing this skill thoroughly, they are just another random-inconsistent-psychic and there's nothing new
about that.
Q. Should I not TRV if I have a cold? It's just minor, no cold medication or anything, but I know you've said in the
tapes if you're tired, hungover, etc...it will impede the session. I'm not tired or anything, just sniffly. Will that
interfere?
A. As for any other attention-required skill, a cold (see Physical Inclemency comments in your course) will also
affect the quality of your TRV session.
Q. I had this happen to me on a target you didn't give me. I was in S3 and moved to the next aspect. When I got
positioned and started placing the pen to the paper, it felt like the paper was an inch thick and I was pushing
through it. I developed tunnel vision and felt like I was moving towards that spot on the paper. I started
sketching then pulled away. I assumed this was bilocation and took a bilo break. I was able to back out very
quickly and felt solidly in the here and now. Was this indeed bilocation?
A. When "bilocation" occurs during a TRV session, the viewer is beginning to shift into an altered state, and a
'break' is indeed required. If you do not take the break, the flow of true site-connected data will come to a
grinding halt, and imagination will take you on a magical mystery tour of your head. The experience of
bilocation is exciting, however -- but then again, so is driving off of a cliff in your car -- both experiences
eventuate in their own forms of disaster. Eschew the 'experience' -- go for the data. This is why altered states were
abandoned, and what the development of TRV was all about.
If your friend happened to be dying of an unknown liver disease, would you rather "experience" her liver,
or accurately describe the cause of the problem?
Q. Is there a "TRV Lite?" It would be for something really basic, like:
"car keys/present location."
Since you all have done this for years, don't tell me that if you lose something or just need a quick answer you
work an entire TRV session just for that? Have you had any success with just asking your body to take you to where your car keys, wallet, etc. are
located?
A. There are no short cuts in Technical Remote Viewing. Would you like the professional pilot of your next 100-mile flight to skip preflight
checks and flight plan? After all, it's just a little "lite" hop. ;-)
Q. If an island was
circled as the target, and there happened to be a ship wreck just off the beach, underwater (unseen, unknown),
would the mind possible RV the more interesting sunken ship, or if the island was circled specifically as the
target, would the mind stick to the job at hand? If the first were true, how could one ever know if what he/she
was RV'ing were real, or imagined?
A. Preparing the target in that manner restricts the search and constrains unconscious to the island, unless
you are working it as a project. Then, the island will be perceived as the target; any novelty will arise as
site aspects. TRV was created to solve for unknowns. Like any other skill, confidence (trust -- not faith) is acquired
via training and practice against knowns, where session feedback is readily obtainable.
Q. Can children successfully learn TRV?
A. A nine-year old can do well with basic TRV skills (S1-3), but is
ill-equipped to tackle intermediate techniques. Young children lack the lexicon to accurately describe certain events and experiences (e.g. - a child
would not be able to perceive if someone was in mourning and could only describe the person
as being "sad.") Just have her/him sit down at the table, with you as their trusted coach, and treat the learning process
like a game -- no more than 10 minutes at a time, no more than 2 sessions a day.
Q. I'm just beginning TRVing.A friend and I have done 3 sessions, 2 of them with
reasonable success, all things considered, and one RIGHT ON! It just blew
me away how well this system works...I haven't a clue as to why...but it
does! Is it too
late to enter the contest? Can beginners participate? How to enter?
Thanks for making this available to the public. It has broadened my
horizons already with potentials and possibilities. What fun! I look forward
to getting acquainted with fellow TRVers!
A. I'm happy to hear of your success.
